1. Who We Are

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website operated by The Hoops Corral (“the Corral,” “we,” “us”), a booster club that raises funds to support the basketball programs of Edgewood High School in Ellettsville, Indiana. The Hoops Corral is an independent organization and is not operated by Edgewood High School or the Richland-Bean Blossom Community School Corporation.

2. Acceptance of These Terms

By using this website, creating an account, making a donation, or registering for an event, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

3. Accounts

• You may browse the site without an account. An account is required to manage event registrations.
• You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently.

4. Donations

• Donations are processed securely by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
• Donations support Edgewood High School basketball programs. Funds are directed to the school and its coaching staff to use where the program needs them most. Specific allocations are at the discretion of the Corral, the school, and its coaches.
• Recurring (monthly) donations can be cancelled at any time by contacting us through the site; cancellation stops future charges but does not refund past ones.
• Donations are generally non-refundable. If you believe a donation was made in error or without authorization, contact us promptly and we will work with you in good faith.
• The Hoops Corral is not currently recognized as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and donations may not be tax-deductible. Consult your tax advisor. This page will be updated if that status changes.

5. Donor Recognition

If you make a donation, you may choose to have your name displayed on our public donor wall, or to remain anonymous. Anonymous gifts are shown without a name. You may ask us to remove your name from the donor wall at any time.

6. Events and Registrations

• Event registrations (free RSVPs and paid tickets) are subject to capacity limits. Waitlists may apply.
• Paid tickets are processed by Stripe. Ticket refunds and cancellations are handled per the specific event's terms; where an event is cancelled by us, paid tickets will be refunded.
• If you register other attendees (including minors in your care), you confirm you have authority to do so.
• We may photograph or record events for promotional use. If you prefer that you or your child not appear in such materials, tell us at the event or contact us.

7. Acceptable Use

• Do not misuse the site: no unauthorized access attempts, scraping, interference with operation, or fraudulent transactions.
• Content you submit (e.g., contact messages) must not be unlawful, defamatory, or infringing.

8. Intellectual Property

The Hoops Corral name, logos, and site content are owned by us or used with permission. Edgewood High School and Mustang marks referenced on this site belong to their respective owners. You may not use our marks without written permission.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Hoops Corral, its volunteers, officers, and directors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim related to the site or a transaction will not exceed the amount you paid in that transaction.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date below reflects the current version. Continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Monroe County, Indiana.
